Elexon are a not-for-profit entity who are key to the successful running of the electricity industry in the UK.

They approached us to give them a brand refresh and an identity that fits in with their values. We developed a fresh, modern and stand-out visual identity that reflected their ‘continuous evolving and innovating’ strategy in the energy market. The result was a bright, energetic and future-proof identity, balanced with a trustworthy look and feel that would appeal to their customers within the industry.

  • Illustration & Iconography

Jack bedford was asked to illustrate the ever-changing world of energy. These were used to cover huge walls in Elexon's London offices.

Alongside regular iconography, we developed over 100 icons to help illustrate different aspects of Elexon's extensive services.

  • Typography

Displaay Type Foundry was commissioned to create Matter Stencil – a bespoke typeface where each letter reflects characteristics of the "X" from the Elexon logo. The characters are used in headlines, signage and other top level assets.

  • Photography

Photographer Andy Parsons was appointed to shoot the portraiture of Elexon's staff.
